Top 10 Style Trends: Urban Outfitters

I love shopping at Urban Outfitters especially when I want to buy some fun casual weekend wear.  So I was intrigued when I saw this list of The Top 10 Fall Trends on their website.   In general, I love incorporating trends into my wardrobe but only when the trend looks good on me and when I truly like the trend.  Also, trendy pieces of clothing or accessories are great to add on when I am trying to create an updated and stylish look with pieces I already have in my wardrobe.   I am not a fan of all these trends here and probably would not try all of them.  But my absolute favorites are the surplus, platform heels, and double finger rings.  Corduroy is always a nice basic to have and I will probably add at least one oversized sweater to my wardrobe this fall.

What are your favorite trends from this Top 10 list?

1. Varsity

2.  Surplus

3. Heritage Shoes

4. Corduroy

5. Pony Hair

6. Long Dresses and Skirts

7. High Platforms

8. Double Finger Rings

9. Oversized

10. Saddle Bags

I love every one of these! I need to add a long skirt and maybe some cords to my wardrobe this season. Besides that I'm always looking for new oversized sweaters. Urban Outfitters is the best for trends at reasonable prices.

Thanks for your comment on my shoes, Naina! They were originally $500 and I got them for around $140. Score!! I've been wearing them like it's my job. Hope you're having a good day!

Oh, I DO love all things Urban! I think my favorite trend here is the Varsity trend -- there's something so nostalgic to me about boy-style cardigans.

I'm kind of digging varsity - for some reason I've been feeling a little bit preppy lately and that has so neverrrr been my style.

I really want to rock a maxi skirt, but I think I'm just too short. They overwhelm me.

I'm way into the surplus look and the over the shoulder saddle bags are a must-have for fall as well!

Ms. Emmy N said...

Love the platforms, and I do think corduroy can be flattering. I may have to try it this fall!

simplychic said...

i LOVE urban too.

i think i have to go with varsity as my fav trend...saddle bags would be a close second.

stylenuggets said...

Love the army/military look which I can wear even in spring here

Most of these trends do nothing for me. Oversized makes me look huge and the long dress it just bad since I'm so short, but I've seen the double rings popping up in various places and love them. The varsity look is great. I might have to take a shopping trip.
