I was so tired of seeing my boots all laying on top of each other and getting bent so as part of my wardrobe organization this past weekend I re organized my boots. I inserted a water or wine bottle into each boot and lined them up in my closet. Not only do the boots look better but hopefully this will help them retain their shape and luster longer. I suppose the boots would also last longer if I would just take the time to clean and polish them every once in a while too.

I love it - heavier weight than rolled magazines means they will actually stand at attention in my closet than tip over like dominoes!

i keep my boots in their original boxes stacked on two shelves in my closet, but i love the wine bottle idea. what a great recycling idea! we drink a lot of wine and if i did this, it would give me an excuse to go buy more pairs of boots, yes? =)

I usually put the center of the paper towel rolls in my boots to keep them nice and straight. I guess bottles work too.
I just started using a bottle to hold up my boots! I also try to keep the blow up inserts that come when you first buy boots.
