I have had a few readers ask me about the makeup I use so I thought I would start by sharing a few of my favorite lip glosses. When it comes to makeup I believe less is more. I don't buy a lot of makeup because makeup does not have a long shelf life and I end up using my favorite products over and over again anyway. Also I don't have that many lipsticks because I prefer to wear neutral colored lip glosses most of the time. But having said that, I am interested in experimenting more with lipstick colors and would love to know if you have any favorite shades of lipstick.

I am also into neutral shades on the lips. I think it suits me better. I do however admire a girl that can rock red lipstick!

I never wear lipgloss b/c I hate that sticky feeling? Do these feel like that? I'm a true lipstick gal...MAC mystic is a great colour for us brown gals.

I have crossed over to the other side. I have been obsessed with bright colors for 4-5 months now :)

My favorite right now are Glamour for all from MAC, Turkish Delight and Orgasm from NARS. I find that the Nars adds just the right amount of color and it's very light and easy to wear. The mac is a little sticky for me, but the shade is a beautiful nude... My favorite look right now is heavy eye makeup and nude lips.

not a gloss, but love, love, love the burts bees lip shimmer which i have about 40 of (in my purse, car, makeup kit...). i have been known to layer it with a gloss when i'm going out-out but for the most part, straight up;)
